Textile chain in NL
with Seaweed Yarn and Bedaffair
This session is a collaboration between Seaweed Yarn and Bedaffair. Together they open the discussion about the sustainability of the textile industry and the bed industry in the Netherlands.
Wake-up call => Big sustainable circular changes are soon about to come and will become reality of what the world is still dreaming about.
Only 7 years ago we started on a 100m2 shop in Amsterdam IJburg. Now we launch 5 Circulair Biobased Mattresses, we set up a 100% mattress recycling for natural mattresses and we’ve opened the largest sustainable bedding shop in the BeNeLux (800 m2 shop). Bedaffair accelerates in the multiple sustainable ways of sleeping and recycling solutions.
In addition, Roosmarie Ruigrok comes to talk about the European Reflow project and what that means for the metropolis of Amsterdam, then we talk about the proposition: Textile industry in the metropolis of Amsterdam.

Short chains food
with Instock Market, ProeVkantoor and Van der Aarde
We give sustainable and locally grown food a face!
The focus on healthy food has never been greater than in recent months. We have a solid food system in North Holland. We have no shortages and the logistics are excellent! But there are also challenges with regard to sales and nature-inclusive cultivation. Talk and think with us about how we can accelerate the tilt.

Fantastic Not-So-Plastic!
with Cupbite and Outlander
Solutions for plastic problems exist right now, but there remains a nearly impossible chasm to cross…
From testing & development of products between startups and industry, establishing pilots, and the battle of stock & volumes vs sustainable & lean development… How do we start production and pilots when traditional models expect these solutions to already be produced at scale, cheap, and almost market ready.
You’re invited to join our Fantastic Not-So-Plastic breakout session to bring to life tangible solutions for this dilemma-
Let’s consider how business should be, and not let how it is, define our future.

Digital inclusion
with Digi Surfer
The EU is committed to technological innovation to realize the new economy. However, 3 million Dutch people are not yet digitally skilled enough. These citizens therefore risk being excluded from the new economy. Do we want a new economy for some or all, and how do we achieve it? These questions are central to this panel discussion.
The panel consists of representatives of the public, social and commercial domain. There will also be an “expert by experience” who will share her experiences with digital exclusion. At the end of the panel discussion, we will prepare a list of digital inclusion measures for the new economy.
The public is welcome to join the panel discussion.

Sustainability maritime transition
with ACT Solution
How can the corona effects accelerate the maritime sustainability proces.
Present sustainability within the maritime industry is only focussed sulfur reduction. There is no pressure from world institutes because the industry was left out of the ‘Paris Climate Agreement’.
Corona virus effects are negatively affecting any sustainable attempts in the maritime playing field. The maritime industry is under pressure and has no margin/funds/room for ‘development/improvement’ budgets.
How can we change the maritime industry to become the most sustainable industry?
